About Us
Greg McKinney, President
Greg's background in the TV News industry provides the backdrop for the vision that is Webstorytellers. Greg "absolutely loved" the fact that he had the opportunity to spend 16-years as an Anchor and Reporter in TV News. Reporting on most of the major news networks, including Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and other network outlets is something he calls a "thrilling experience" that he wouldn't trade for anything. However, the thought of running a company that provides "positive" TV-style stories for a global audience was too much to pass up. Business ownership, he says, is a bigger thrill than "any live shot or show" he ever did. His approach to business is simple: Give clients 100 percent effort, do it with professionalism and courtesy, and give them more than what they expect.
Angelique McKinney, Vice President
Angelique McKinney has more than 12 years of television news experience. In her dozen years in television news, Angelique covered weather and environmental issues in Colorado, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Washington and California. Her reports have been featured on The Weather Channel, Fox News Network and CNN.
Her most recent TV job was at KOVR-TV in Sacramento, Ca.where she found a new passion: Storytelling. She was given the opportunity to report and never looked back. She too, however, preferred to focus on the positives of life---not the murders, fires, and disasters, that local news organizations tend to cover. She may be the most important cog in how Webstorytellers came to be. As Greg was debating his first day of work at a Northern California Fox station, he didn't feel as though his heart was in it. Angelique told Greg "if you put as much time into your business idea as you would at the news station, this business idea of ours will work." She was right.>
